Talk to Steve
Steve Murphy owns Modern Remodeling LLC and holds an unrestricted Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License.
Monday to Friday 7 to 5, Saturday 8 to noon. Closed Sunday. Based in Raynham, MA.
What helps on the first call
Tell Steve the town, the room and what you want it to do. A few phone photos of the space help, and so do any drawings or plans you already have.
If something is wrong now, like a leak, storm damage or a soft floor, say so first. That changes what gets looked at on the walkthrough.
Steve and his team do fabulous work and are knowledgeable, reliable and honest. Weve hired them twice (two exterior door replacements, one large bay window replacement).

From there Steve sets up a time to see it in person. The next step is a written scope with the work spelled out, so you know exactly what you would be agreeing to.
You can also reach the company through its Facebook page or Thumbtack.

Before you call
What is the best way to reach Modern Remodeling?
Call (781) 974-4263 during business hours. Monday to Friday 7 to 5, Saturday 8 to noon.
Do you come out to see the job before giving a price?
Yes. Steve walks the space in person first, then the price comes as a written scope that spells out the work.
What should I have ready for the walkthrough?
Your list of what you want, any plans or drawings, and anything you already know about the house, like past leaks or an old addition. Photos of anything hidden help too.
Do you work outside Bristol County?
Yes. We work within about a hundred miles of Raynham, which covers twelve counties from the Cape and Islands to Middlesex, Essex and Worcester.
Can I reach you on social media?
Yes. Modern Remodeling is on Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Thumbtack and Google. The phone is still the fastest way to Steve.
